Putting the people of 1st Ward first means prioritizing constituent engagement.

As councilperson for the Utica Common Council in the First Ward, Katie will seek to:

01 — Connect

I will continue to initiate engagement and make myself available to meet with and listen to the people of 1st Ward through:

• Being accessible through a consistent online presence
• Offering constituent hours
• Engaging in the media and public interviews

02 — Inform

I will make information from City Hall easily accessible and easy to understand by:

• Promoting meeting dates, times, and agendas
• Posting meeting legislation and vote recaps
• Providing information through digital and printed posts

03 — Represent

My goal is to bring your voice and concerns to the table. We will do this by:

• Organizing and unifying our goals through open forums
• Advocating to improve quality of life for everyone in the district
• Use Our community’s experience and ideas to create effective and sustainable solutions
